For millenniums, gemstones have been collected because every stone is different.

Its colour, shape, inclusions, origin and character make it unique.

NFTs introduced a new way to establish digital ownership and provenance.

Limanty brings these two worlds together.

The OG Collection consists of just 300 NFTs, with each NFT linked to a corresponding gemstone.

You can collect the NFT digitally, trade it, hold it as part of your collection or eventually choose to redeem it and receive the physical gemstone.

01 — MINT

Each NFT represents one gemstone from the OG Collection.

Your NFT will have its own unique identity and corresponding gemstone information.

02 — COLLECT

Once minted, your NFT becomes part of your digital collection.

You can view, hold and trade your NFT according to the applicable marketplace and blockchain rules. Most common traded platform opensea,io

The blockchain provides a transparent record of ownership and transaction history.

03 — DISCOVER YOUR GEMSTONE

Every Limanty OG NFT is connected to a specific physical gemstone.

The gemstone has its own characteristics, such as:

  • Gemstone type

  • Weight

  • Dimensions

  • Colour

  • Cut or shape

  • Other relevant identifying characteristics

Additional documentation may also be provided depending on the gemstone.

04 — REDEEM

This is where the digital and physical worlds meet.

At any time, subject to the official redemption terms, the NFT holder can choose to redeem their NFT for its corresponding physical gemstone, by burning the NFT and paying shipping fee the owner will receive the real gemstone.

The NFT is then permanently removed from circulation through the official redemption process.

Your digital collectible becomes your physical gemstone.

05 — RECEIVE YOUR GEMSTONE

Once the redemption process has been completed and verified, Limanty will arrange delivery of the corresponding physical gemstone to the eligible holder, a shipping fee will be paid by the gemstone receiver.

Your gemstone can then become part of your physical collection, jewellery project or personal display.

Each gemstone in the OG Collection will be individually identified and documented by Limanty.

Where applicable, gemstones may also be accompanied by independent gemological documentation.

For certified gemstones, the relevant certificate can provide information such as:

  • Carat weight

  • Measurements

  • Colour

  • Clarity

  • Cut

  • Treatment information

  • Other gemological characteristics

The NFT provides the digital layer of the ownership and provenance journey, while the physical gemstone provides the tangible component.

🔥 WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU REDEEM?

Redemption is intentionally designed to be a one-way process.

When an NFT is redeemed:

NFT → Redemption → Physical Gemstone

The redeemed NFT is permanently removed from circulation according to the project's redemption mechanism.

This means the corresponding NFT can no longer be transferred as an active collectible after redemption.

The physical gemstone remains with the redeemer.
